Once you have purchased the satellite software, you need not pay Dish Network anymore.
Everyone knows that the satellite providers can be unreliable especially in areas which experience harsh weather conditions like storms. It is quite likely that the reception is occasionally affected by weather and as a result, the TV transmission is weak.
This is one great difference when using software to watch TV on your computer.
