I just want to use my laptop instead of a monitor. I use Dishnetwork, and each receiver box can handle 2 TV’s watching different shows simultaneously. I know there’s a way to watch it on your lap top I just don’t know how. Would the Slingbox do this? Help please.

Your story sounds like mine. We wanted to watch television on our laptops.

Therefore, my brother and I downloaded the software from

The software enables us to watch satellite TV on our computers. The only difference between using PC satellite TV software and satellite TV services is that there is no monthly subscription cost.

Once you have purchased the satellite software, you need not pay Dish Network anymore.

Everyone knows that the satellite providers can be unreliable especially in areas which experience harsh weather conditions like storms. It is quite likely that the reception is occasionally affected by weather and as a result, the TV transmission is weak.

This is one great difference when using software to watch TV on your computer.

I hope this will help you. Good luck!

You need to install one small program. I am very much happy with mine.
